Mel Wilinsky, chief financial officer for Outrigger Enterprises Group, is pleased to announce the appointment of Ms. Eva Hang, CPA, as internal audit manager.
A Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Ms. Hang brings solid Internal Audit and Sarbanes-Oxley experience, which she garnered working for Grant Thornton LLP, a global accounting, tax, and advisory organization. During her association with Grant Thornton, Ms Hang provided auditing, Sarbanes-Oxley Compliance, and consulting services to a variety of clients.
Most recently, she was the Controller for Pipeline Micro, Inc., a start up company that was developing liquid cooling systems for consumers and home electronics products; and prior to that, she worked as an Internal Auditor for the State of Hawaii Department of Education.
She has been the Hospitality Director for the Information Systems Audit and Control Association (ISACA), an independent, nonprofit, global association that engages in the development, adoption, and use of globally accepted, industry-leading knowledge and practices for information systems, for the past two years.
Ms. Hang holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting, Management Information Systems, and Marketing from UH Manoa. In addition, Ms. Hang is also proficient in Chinese and Japanese.
