Hotel is now the Best Convention and Group Value in the Northwest Arkansas Area
John Q. Hammons Hotels & Resorts has completed a $6.5 million renovation of the award-winning Holiday Inn Northwest Arkansas in Springdale, AR. The multi-year renovation, executed in three phases, modernized the hotel’s 206 guest rooms and bathrooms, redesigned the public space and restaurant, and upgraded 50,000 square feet of meeting and convention space.
The renovation is part of the Holiday Inn brand’s $1 billion worldwide refresh effort. John Q. Hammons Hotels & Resorts is known for luxurious, spacious rooms, and the newly re-launched Holiday Inn Northwest Arkansas continues that tradition, making it the most competitive group and convention value in the Northwest Arkansas market.
“Our renovated guest rooms, suites and meeting space are the largest in the Springdale area, uniquely positioning this hotel to serve transient and group business. In addition, our investment in upgrading technology in our public space and guest rooms and suites now makes us the most modern property in the market,” said Roger Davis, Holiday Inn Northwest Arkansas General Manager. “Our contemporary guest rooms and suites now feature completely updated bathrooms and redesigned in-room work areas, as well as a 37-inch flat screen TV equipped with cable/satellite, in-room pay-per-view movies and in-room check-out and our guests will find high-speed wireless Internet access throughout the hotel.”
The renovation refreshed the hotel’s signature atrium, turning it into a focal point for guests to socialize, relax and stay connected. The lobby, pool, business and fitness centers have also been fully revamped, including the addition of state-of-the-art Precor® Fitness exercise equipment.
Located in the center of northwest Arkansas, near Rogers and Bentonville, the Holiday Inn is convenient to the Northwest Arkansas Regional Airport (XNA) and is minutes from Fayetteville, the Tyson Foods worldwide corporate headquarters and the University of Arkansas, home of the Razorbacks.
