Crestline Hotels & Resorts, Inc. today announced it has assumed management of the Courtyard by Marriott Washington Capitol Hill/Navy Yard hotel. The announcement comes as Chesapeake Lodging Trust, a Real Estate Investment Trust (REIT), acquires the 204 guestroom hotel which is the closest property to the Washington Nationals Baseball Stadium and in close proximity to Capitol Hill. The 14-story hotel, which is perfect for business and leisure travel, also includes 2,215 square feet of meeting and event space. It is within walking distance to the Navy Yard Metro Station.

"We look forward to enhancing, and improving upon, the hotel's reputation for excellent service and quality accommodations and amenities," added Carroll.

Located at 140 L Street, SE in Washington, D.C., the hotel offers a selection of well-appointed guest rooms and suites each with a coffee maker and microwave oven. In addition, each guest room features luxury bedding, a work area with dual line telephones, a desk and high speed wireless Internet access throughout the hotel. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are available in the Courtyard Cafe and cocktails and dinner are served in the Dugout Lounge. The hotel is in close proximity to area restaurants and attractions including Washington Nationals' stadium, Capitol Hill and Arlington National Cemetery.
The Courtyard by Marriott Washington Capitol Hill/Navy Yard is five miles from Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport and 30 miles from Washington D.C. Dulles International Airport.
