Kept Hotels and Resorts announced today the appointment of Jason Hsiang as Principal - Acquisitions and Development. With 12 years of hospitality and real estate investment experience, Mr. Hsiang will operate the New York office and lead the growth and expansion effort for Kept Hotels within major urban markets including the sourcing, structuring and closing of hotel management and acquisitions.
Prior to joining Kept Hotels, Mr. Hsiang held the position of Director of Acquisitions and Development for Morgans Hotel Group for the past eight years, where he was responsible for the various transactions including in the expansion of the Mondrian brand in Miami South Beach and Soho New York. Previously, Mr. Hsiang also held acquisition positions in two real estate private equity funds, Lazard Freres Real Estate Investors and Northstar Capital Investment Corp.
