RIU Hotels & Resorts has chosen the city of Berlin to open in June 2013 the Hotel Riu Plaza Berlin, its first city hotel in Europe and the third from the RIU Plaza line. The hotel chain extends its brand Riu Plaza to the European continent, which offers specially designed services for guests travelling on business or pleasure.
The luxurious four star hotel will be located in the shopping area of Ku´Damm, one of the most famous avenues in the city of Berlin and only 350 metres from the famous KaDeWe (Kaufhaus des Westens), the most famous store in Germany which includes a wide variety of luxury goods and refined cuisine.
The Hotel Riu Plaza Berlin will offer 400 rooms, an exquisite gastronomic offer, including breakfast buffet, complimentary initial content of the minibar, high speed wireless internet in all areas of the building, including rooms and an ideal environment to hold events, meetings and conferences.
The hotel will devote several meeting rooms for events with adjustable spaces to fit the needs of its customers, presenting a balance between style and functionality and RIU's acclaimed service. The meeting rooms will have a capacity of up to 250 people.
The Hotel Riu Plaza Berlin will feature an Executive Class Service, with rooms on the Executive Floor and access to the Executive Lounge. This will be a relaxing area for guests who will be able to read the latest news, hold private meetings and enjoy the lounge’s complimentary luxurious amenities which include food and beverages such as wine, beer, soft drinks, tea and coffee.
