International Luxury Travel Market (ILTM) 2012 will welcome a pioneer of luxury during the renowned ILTM Opening Forum on Monday 3 December: Mr P.R.S. Oberoi, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of The Oberoi Group will take centre stage in a live interview to reveal his ethos for the Oberoi brand and his predictions for the future of luxury travel.
The ILTM Opening Forum launches ILTM 2012 – the annual, ‘invitation-only’ event for the world of global luxury travel, taking place from 5 – 8 December in Cannes, France.
ILTM commented: “We are delighted that Mr P.R.S. Oberoi – an icon in the world of luxury travel – will be sharing the Oberoi success story, his involvement in developing hotels that reflect their local environment and his prominent recognition of all Oberoi staff.”
The interview will be conducted by Klara Glowczewska, editor-in-chief of Condé Nast Traveler who will also ask Mr Oberoi about the origins and progress of The Oberoi Centre of Learning and Development, considered to be among the best in Asia.
The ILTM Opening Forum will again reveal new research in luxury travel trends for the future and a presentation by John Andrews, Consultant Editor for The Economist: ‘The World in 2013’ following his impactful similar presentations at ILTM 2010 and 2011. His presentation will predict the world economy in 2013 as well as countries, industries and people to watch.
During the ensuing three days, ILTM will be the platform for the most prestigious global luxury travel suppliers as well as ex citing new experiences to meet with the world’s most discerning international luxury travel agents, buyers and designers – confirming the importance the event plays in the luxury travel market calendar.
The ILTM Opening Forum will take place on Monday 3 December from 5 - 7pm at the Palais des Festivals et des Congrès in Cannes.
