DoubleTree by Hilton Mexico City Airport Celebrates New Name, New Look Multi-Million Dollar Renovation Underway
DoubleTree by Hilton today announced the opening of a newly renovated, upscale, full-service hotel in Mexico City, just a few miles from the heart of Zocalo, the city’s center. The 96-room DoubleTree by Hilton Mexico City Airport is minutes from the Benito Juarez Mexico City Airport (MEX). The DoubleTree by Hilton Mexico City formerly was an independent hotel and is owned and operated by Operadora de Hoteles y Restaurantes ITER, S.A. de C.V under a franchise license agreement with a subsidiary of Hilton Worldwide.
“The DoubleTree by Hilton brand continues to makes inroads across the globe as evidenced by the opening of our third Mexican hotel in one of the most important economic hubs in all of Latin America, Mexico City,” said Rob Palleschi, global head DoubleTree by Hilton. “Mexico is one of the top ten international destinations for travelers worldwide, many of whom already are familiar with the DoubleTree by Hilton brand. We’ll soon have another hotel in Merida, and I feel certain that our presence in Mexico will continue to grow for the foreseeable future.”
Renovations to the DoubleTree by Hilton Mexico City Airport are ongoing and include guest rooms and baths and the hotel’s fitness center.
The DoubleTree by Hilton Mexico City Airport is near Parque Tezontle Mall, a Six Flags theme park, local museums, including the stunning Museo de Antropologia, and performance venues such as Palacio de los Deportes, Foro Sol and Autodromo Hermanos Rodriguez, providing a variety of activities and attractions for travelers of all ages. Numerous corporate offices including Schneider Electric, Deloitte, Grainger, Cooper Tools and Affinia are less than a mile away.
The tastefully appointed guest rooms at the DoubleTree by Hilton Mexico City Airport feature bright décor and modern comforts and conveniences suited to today's business and leisure travelers. The hotel also has a 24-hour self-service business center and complimentary printing service that includes “print-from-your room” convenience. For guests who wish to keep up with their workout program while traveling at the DoubleTree by Hilton Mexico City Airport, a large, state-of-the-art, fitness center is available. The hotel also offers a complimentary airport shuttle to the Benito Juarez Airport.
The hotel’s onsite restaurant, La Hacienda, known for its prime steaks and first-class service, also serves the brand’s signature Wake Up DoubleTree Breakfast, which includes hot entrees and healthy options to start the day right. At the end of a busy day, guests can unwind with a fine selection of refreshing cocktails in the hotel’s lounge, La Mansion. Room service also is available during peak dining hours.
