Baglioni Hotels has officially launched the mobile version of the corporate website. The mobile site can be viewed at m.baglionihotels.com.
As people are spending more and more time on their mobile phones than ever before, a dedicated version for mobile devices and smartphones has been created to propose to users an optimized navigation, easiest booking process and quicker access to the image gallery.
Consumers are increasingly turning to their smartphones to research products, read customers reviews and make actual purchases. For all modern companies, the mobile presence is a crucial marketing asset. By 2014, it is in fact estimated that mobile internet will take over desktop internet usage.
The first semester of 2012 registered a constantly growing access to Baglioni Hotels site through mobile devices:
+ 170% of mobile visits compared to Jan – Oct 2011
+ 166% of mobile revenue compared to Jan – Oct 2011
+ 158% of transactions compared to Jan – Oct 2011
Another relevant development of Baglioni Hotels corporate website is the implementation of the Chinese version, which will bring additional business opportunities and expand awareness of the Baglioni brand.
Baglioni Hotels, established in 1973, counts 10 properties in Italy, (Milan, Venice, Florence, Punta Ala and Rome), France (Aix-en-Provence, Champillon Epernay, Saint Paul de Vence) and UK (London), members of The Leading Hotels of the World and Relais & Châteaux.
