The Spa at Four Seasons Hotel Denver is offering two new advanced treatment lines, both of which are known as “green” friendly: Voya, an organic seaweed beauty product based in Ireland, and Medik8, a British skin research company known for results-driven products. Medik8 is a “green” cosmeceutical brand known for using less aggressive ingredients that still offer a strong potency and effective results. Voya’s seaweed comes from Ireland’s Atlantic Coast and is hand-harvested and certified organic. The Spa at Four Seasons has added several new treatments incorporating these new product lines, just in time for spring.
“The results from these new lines have been phenomenal,” says Spa Director Matt Turner. “For guests with skin issues, such as rosacea, the Medik8 line has shown to make a marked difference post-treatment. We’ve already had several guests leave The Spa and purchase the entire line of products for home use.”
The Spa at Four Seasons has incorporated new treatments into its extensive Spa menu. The new treatments include the following:
Facial Treatments
Radiance Facial60 minutes – USD 125.00
This results-driven facial uses Medik8 products and is appropriate for all skin types. It will slow the ageing process, brighten and rejuvenate the skin using ingredients that penetrate the skins surface for maximum results. It diminishes the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, to reveal smoother, younger-looking skin.
Clarifying Fruit Peel75mintes – USD 155.00
This 75-minute facial is full of powerful enzymes to “dissolve” dead skin cells and reveal younger skin layers in an effective yet gentle manner, using the Medik8 products. With no visible peeling and no downtime, this facial is known as a “lunch-time peel.” Suitable for all skin types, especially hypersensitive skin.
Body Treatments
Four Seasons Signature Four Handed Massage60 minutes – USD 250.00
A choreographed rhythmic massage to create a deeply relaxing experience, this massage includes two therapists working in unison, using nurturing long strokes to induce a deeply relaxed self-being.
Organic Hydrating Body Scrub60 minutes – USD 115.00
A dual action lathering body buff exfoliates with finely ground walnut shells and nourishes skin with a blend of almond oil, seaweed and ginger extracts. A gentle, yet effective, formula removes rough and life-less looking skin cells, to reveal much more refined, softer, silky smooth skin.
Organic Peppermint and Seaweed Sugar Glow60 minutes - USD 115.00
This refreshing and all over exfoliation treatment awakens the skin and body. It features a fabulous mix of organic peppermint leaf, seaweed and sugar, all of which perform the double action of gently exfoliating the skin while introducing uplifting effects of the organic peppermint essential oil.
Organic Seaweed Wrap90 minutes - USD 220.00
Unlike any other seaweed treatment offered at The Spa, this detoxifying therapy uses real organic seaweed leaves to scrub and wrap the body. Beginning with an organic body buff, this treatment detoxifies, firms and softens the skin and is excellent in conjunction with a weight loss program. The entire body is covered in laminaria kelp seaweed leaves for instant results. This treatment is completed with a massage application of Softly Does It, Voya’s extremely rich, silky seaweed lotion, which nourishes and softens skin.
About The Spa at Four Seasons Hotel DenverOn the Hotel’s third floor, local Denverites and Hotel guests can revel in the 9,000 square-foot (835 square-metre) Spa, where serenity and tranquility await. With a full range of facial and body treatments, plus a separate nail salon, Spa guests are invited to fully experience relaxation and rejuvenation by taking advantage of the plethora of amenities the Spa provides. Guests who experience a minimum 60 minute treatment are extended access to the Hotel’s fitness centre.
The Spa at Four Seasons offers 10 treatment rooms, each named after a gemstone of Colorado, and two of the rooms are couples suites. One suite offers an expansive rain shower, and the other offers a spacious whirlpool tub, featuring the SANIJET Pipeless system. There are two separate men’s and women’s changing facilities with relaxation lounges, each offering a large whirlpool as the centrepiece with a eucalyptus steam room and separate lounge area. Special touches include multi-jet rain showers, lounge chairs with iPod docking stations and reading lights, and a spacious vanity in the ladies lounge.
The state-of-the-art fitness centre features TechnoGym equipment including treadmills, elliptical machines, stationery bikes, leg machines, lower back and abdominal machines, weight bench units, exercise balls and more.
