Hilton Worldwide today announced the opening of the DoubleTree by Hilton Sukhumvit Bangkok in Thailand. Located in Sukhumvit, Bangkok’s main lifestyle, entertainment and residential district, the DoubleTree by Hilton Sukhumvit Bangkok is Hilton Worldwide’s 100th property in Asia Pacific and the first DoubleTree by Hilton branded property in Bangkok.
“Hilton Worldwide has been operating in Thailand since 1983 and we are delighted to celebrate this key milestone in our company’s history with the opening of this amazing property in Bangkok. Embracing Bangkok’s culture and vitality, DoubleTree by Hilton Sukhumvit Bangkok combines contemporary style and best-in-class hospitality where guests can stay connected and feel at home. The 23-story hotel features 177 modern and spacious 28 square meter guestrooms including ten 38 square meter superior rooms and five 58 square meter suites. Food and beverage outlets include Dee-Lite, an all-day dining restaurant serving Thai, Vietnamese and Western fare with a focus on fresh, local dishes and Mosaic, an energetic pool-side lounge and cocktail bar featuring live DJs on select nights and a refreshing menu of tasty salads and delicacies from the hotel’s signature Thai charcoal grill.
The upscale DoubleTree by Hilton Sukhumvit Bangkok also offers leisure facilities including an outdoor swimming pool and a fully-equipped, state-of-the-art 24-hour fitness center. The hotel's meeting and event facilities include a 351 square meter conference room, which can be divided into two meeting rooms, a 56 square meter multi-purpose room as well as a fully-equipped business center.

As a participant in the Hilton HHonors guest loyalty program, the hotel will offer guests the ability to earn and redeem Hilton HHonors points. Gold and Diamond HHonors members will also receive free breakfast and Wifi connection in their guestrooms.
Situated 400 meters from Phrom Phong Skytrain station on Sukhumvit Soi 26, the DoubleTree by Hilton Sukhumvit Bangkok is perfectly placed for visitors to explore Thailand’s capital. The hotel’s central location allows guests easy access to premium dining, entertainment and shopping hubs, including Emporium Shopping Mall, Terminal 21 and Siam Paragon. Opening promotionTo celebrate its opening, DoubleTree by Hilton Sukhumvit Bangkok also announced the "Book More and Get More" promotion which rewards event planners with value-added incentives for rooms booked with Hilton Worldwide hotels and resorts across Asia Pacific.
From April 30 to June 30, 2013, all bookings made for 20 room nights and above will be entitled up to six attractive incentives ranging from welcome cocktails, complimentary Internet in the meeting venues, to selected room upgrades.
Event planners who are Hilton HHonors members will receive Double Event Planner Bonus Points for any bookings made within this promotion. They will also be rewarded with an additional 125,000 HHonors Event Planner Points for bookings made during the Group Value Date Incentive period which is defined on respective hotel websites and at the Hilton Worldwide Asia Pacific Meetings and Events website.
The "Book More and Get More" promotion is valid for stays until December 31, 2013, and is available at all Hilton Worldwide properties in Asia Pacific, across all brands including Waldorf Astoria Hotels, Conrad Hotels & Resorts, Hilton Hotels & Resorts, DoubleTree by Hilton, Hilton Garden Inn and Hampton by Hilton.
