A British national, Akshay has more than 12 years of experience in sales and marketing working for many well known hotel chains in London, including Hilton, Sol-Melia Group and Millennium & Copthorne. His last position in London before moving back to India in 2009 was Director of Sales & Marketing at Franklyn Hotels & Resorts, The Cadogan Hotel on Knightsbridge. Prior to his new role with Absolute Hotel Services India, he was Director of Operations at Clinical Research Education and Management Academy (CREMA).

As the new regional director of sales, Akshay will work closely with Corporate Sales & Marketing team to develop sales and marketing strategies, leading the team in implementation of activities as well as driving revenue for each hotel in India and Middle East under the management of Absolute Hotel Services India.
