Mr de Mary Chelin has over eight years' hospitality experience in Mauritius. For the last four years he has worked for Starwood Hotels and Resorts as Director of Corporate and Group Sales, responsible for three properties in Mauritius: Le Meridien Ile Maurice, The Westin Turtle Bay, Mauritius, and The St Regis Mauritius Resort.
Prior to that he was with two destination management companies in Mauritius, an independent sovereign state located about 2,000 kms east of Africa in the Indian Ocean.
Mr Edmonstone said: "With his first-hand knowledge of marketing five-star resorts in Mauritius, Frederick brings expertise, enthusiasm and energy to the task. He will help us establish Outrigger Mauritius Resort and Spa as one of the most acclaimed beachfront properties in this exotic destination."
Mr de Marcy Chelin, a native of Mauritius, graduated with a degree in Tourism Management from IFC Montpellier in France.
The Outrigger Mauritius Resort and Spa will be the first property for Outrigger in the Indian Ocean.
