Langkawi is an archipelago of about 99 islands in the Andaman sea, some 30km off the mainland coast of north western Malaysia and at about an hour travelling by air from the cosmopolitan metropolis, Kuala Lumpur.
PrimaCity Ventures Sdn Bhd together with PHR FZ-LLC will develop the announced project, on a tranquil island surrounded by beautiful beaches and greeneries, located just off the main island of Langkawi, with excellent accessibility from Langkawi International Airport.
Guests of Paramount Resort Langkawi will enjoy extraordinary views of the island’s pristine beach, green mountains rich with flora and fauna and true Malaysian warmth hospitality.
The planned resort will consist of over 200 rooms, suites and villas, some of which with overwater location, offering a luxurious natural retreat with the addition of an extraordinary private paradise. In addition to this the resort will offer an eclectic selection of food & beverage concepts, next generation wellness & fitness center, meetings and events facilities including the work & play suites, a screening room, swimming pools, kids studio club and luxury retail stores.

Drawing on the Paramount Pictures’ history, ‘Paramount Resort Langkawi’ will showcase authentic California lifestyle, the glamour of Hollywood and be conceived as a ‘major release’, crafted by a team of uniquely creative people, working together in a uniquely creative process.
Reassuring signatures of the Paramount Hotels & Resorts brand, including access to the Paramount Pictures movies library, a screening room and creative use of transformational elements such as digital signage, media mapping and lighting effects throughout the public areas will be complemented by accents of local color.
Paramount Resort Langkawi will be developed as a special experience for guests with emphasis on creating privacy and unique vantage points, giving the guests the feeling of being on their own private island, their retreat to nature and the chance to relax in their own personal paradise.
PHR FZ LLC and PrimaCity Ventures Sdn. Bhd. are also working together to expand their presence in other locations and have earmarked potential sites for their next high end development project in the CDB of Kuala Lumpur.
