"It is a pleasure to welcome Liz to our resort,” said Mr. Eversdijk. “She has an extensive record of client satisfaction, and is known for her dedication to her customers and their meetings and events. Her appointment to our team is especially timely as the demand from the group market for our resort continues to grow.”
In her new position as director of sales, Elizabeth will be responsible for group sales business for the destination resort and conference center, with particular interest in groups originating in Central and South America and Europe, as well as select US corporate group business.
Elizabeth Dexter brings more than 15 years of experience in sales within the hospitality industry to her new position. She most recently served as regional sales director for the Radisson Blu Resort in St. Martin. She has held senior sales positions with the five diamond Fiesta Americana Hotels as well as select upscale Wyndham properties in the US and the Caribbean.
Ms. Dexter earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Hospitality from Florida International University and a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish degree from Hood College, Maryland. She is a member of Meeting Professionals International, the Florida International Alumnae Association and the Society of Incentive Travel Executives. She resides in Hollywood, Florida, and Curacao.
