Effective September 1st, 2014, Fabrice will join the property in the Caribbean. St Barths is not new to him as he started his career at the hotel Guanahani. Now at the age of 40, and with 20 years of management in international luxury hotels, he brings a wealth of experience to Eden Rock. Joining from Hôtel Fouquet’s Barrière, Paris, with its world famous terrace on the Champs-Elysées, he held various managerial positions in the 3 Deauville hotels of the Groupe Lucien Barrière, all of them Leading Hotels of the World.
In his new role, Fabrice will report to Didier Le Calvez, Senior Vice-President Operations and Sales & Marketing, Oetker Collection. “Thanks to 20 years of dedication and investment from the Matthews family, Eden Rock – St Barths is recognised as a stunningly beautiful world class ultra luxe hotel destination. Today, we are delighted to welcome Fabrice to the Oetker Collection team”, said Didier Le Calvez, “his knowledge of the luxury hotel and F&B operations will contribute to bring the already successful Eden Rock to new heights”.
