The dazzling lounges and showplaces aboard Seven Seas Explorer are fitting of the most luxurious ship ever built. Each is designed with a unique ambience to provide guests with a varied assortment of lavish settings in which to relax and unwind, enjoy a live performance or dance the night away. The leisure options on Seven Seas Explorer cater to each guests’ individual vacation needs, offering enrichment, enjoyment and entertainment for all who sail aboard the most luxurious ship at sea. True to Regent Seven Seas Cruises signature all-inclusive nature, all lounges provide guests with a diverse menu of complimentary libations, including beer, wine, premium liquors and cocktails.
The following represents a sampling of entertainment venues guests will enjoy aboard Seven Seas Explorer:Constellation Theater – This ornate two-tiered 694-seat performance venue pays homage to the glamorous theaters of Hollywood’s golden age. Guests with a keen-eye will find a swan motif artfully woven into the theater’s design, with characteristics of this graceful creature evident in the ceiling architecture, balcony railing and an intricate entry-way mosaic. Luxurious table-top Murano glass lamps provide a soft, warm glow throughout the theater as guests enjoy the performance from comfortable cabaret-style seating, each with an unobstructed view to the state-of-the-art stage. On stage, floor to ceiling digital screens provide interactive backdrops to help immerse guests into the show. The multifunctional space serves as a canvas for a variety of entertainment options, ranging from lectures to cooking demonstrations and Broadway-style theatrical performances.
Observation Lounge – This lively lounge on deck 11 brings to life the opulence and indulgences of the Roaring Twenties. A folded metal canopy surrounds the lounge’s signature bar, while steps away a dance floor is illuminated by a delicate crystal chandelier. The lounge appears as if it were ripped from the pages of The Great Gatsby, with a design featuring a color palate of rich silver, gold, black and white hues. With floor-to-ceiling windows providing a magnificent 270-degree view, this lounge more than lives up to its namesake and is the ideal venue for guests to enjoy the ocean vistas.
Explorer Lounge – Just off the ship’s atrium lobby, this lounge provides guests with more of a country club vibe with rich mahogany wood columns, comfortable leather chairs, deep blue fabrics and luxurious flooring. On one side of the lounge, a golden proscenium outlines a small stage where live musical performances will take place, and anchoring the opposite end, a polished black marble bar ringed by plush, deep opal blue bar stools stands ready to serve guests their favorite beverages. This lounge is the ideal choice for a pre- or post-dinner cocktail or for guests looking to unwind while enjoying some soothing jazz.
Casino – Across from the Explorer Lounge on deck 4, the open and inviting casino beckons guests seeking Monte Carlo-style gaming entertainment with tables for blackjack, craps and roulette along with several slot machines. Dominated by a red-and-gold color scheme, the casino features rich decorative stone work and a sophisticated lighting system with two grand chandeliers as focal points.
The Café – This upscale European-inspired coffeehouse welcomes java aficionados with an open and inviting décor. A spacious seating area filled with wingback chairs and leather banquettes overlooking the ocean offers guests the perfect respite to enjoy an expertly prepared specialty coffee drink.
