Masterminded by Executive Chef Vincent Ménager, Le Brunch menu incorporates the finest French and British flavours, as well as international brunch classics. Le Brunch experience commences with an irresistible homemade “smoked bacon, egg and cheese brioche”, followed by a choice of dishes including “jerk marinated steak, fried egg, homemade bbq sauce” and “pancake stack with lemon and fresh blueberries” served with lashings of maple syrup. Dishes with a distinctive French twist include “eggs Benedict with Bayonne ham, crunchy asparagus and runny duck eggs” and, of course, the ultimate “croque monsieur with raclette cheese and maple glazed bacon”; while the “breakfast burger, complete with sausage and black pudding patty, bacon jam and fried egg in a brioche bun” is a great choice for the perfect boy’s brunch.
Alternatively, for guests watching their waistline, lighter brunch options are available, lower in calories, but not lacking in flavour. Guests can sample a “raw salad of vegetables, seeds, and sweet pea falafels with a low-fat dill yoghurt” and “smoked chicken or warm salmon fillet, seaweed, quinoa and citrus salad”.
It would, of course, be criminal to go for Le Brunch and not finish on a sweet note. The menu boasts a selection of fresh patisseries, ensured to satisfy any sweet tooth, incorporating an irresistible “raspberry macaroon Eton Mess”. To accompany Le Brunch dishes, a selection of cocktails and boozy milkshakes has been created and will be on offer alongside an innovative kir selection and a DIY Bloody Mary bar.
The new brunch menu is now available for hotel guests and outside visitors, at The Balcon, every Sunday from 12pm – 4pm, with prices from £20 per person for two courses.

The Balcon features a custom Charcuterie Bar and offers a private dining room, seating sixteen. The St James Bar is situated next to The Balcon and is inspired by Coco Chanel's 1920's apartment. A bar menu is available all day, as well as innovative seasonal cocktails. The Rose Lounge offers a sanctuary in the heart of London, serving delicious traditional afternoon tea with a French twist. Here, guests are surrounded by fresh roses and the hotel library, whilst being entertained by the soft tones of a live harp. Sofitel London St James is a 125,000 sq. ft. Grade II listed building, a former Cox’s & King’s bank, located on Waterloo Place on the corner of Pall Mall.
