Z Lounge by Zengo, the stylish new concept from celebrity chef Richard Sandoval, has opened its doors in Qatar. Located on the 61st floor of Kempinski Residences & Suites in West Bay, the newest hotspot in Doha is also the tallest, providing a shining new addition to Doha’s flourishing nightlife scene.
Quite literally a cut above the rest, Z Lounge by Zengo offersunprecedented panoramic viewsacross Doha’s impressive skyline. Featuring Chef Sandoval’s innovative Latin-Asian fusion cuisine, enticing signature cocktails and aneclectic soundtrack from resident DJ Roger Choueiry, Z Lounge by Zengo is a highlight on Doha’s social scene, both literally and figuratively.
“Zengo translates to “give and take”, which I think sums up our concept, not only because of the union of Latin and Asian cuisines, but also the communal nature of the dining experience, which is designed around sharing plates,” said Richard Sandoval, owner of Z Lounge by Zengo. “As we open our doors to guests we are confident it will become the chosen destination in Doha offering a lively, unique experience and a stunning location."
The modern décor provides capacity for 150, with 100 seating and 50 standing on the ground floor. In addition there is a VIP room which is available for private hire, overlooking the main bar from the 62nd floor, and featuring its own private elevator, facilities and bar – the perfect venue to celebrate special occasions and experience true VIP service.

Doha is the fourth city to welcome the Zengo concept following Denver, Washington, D.C. and Dubai, and Z Lounge by Zengo is the third venue for Richard Sandoval Restaurants in Qatar following the opening of Pampano on The Pearl in 2010and Toro Toro at MarsaMalaz Kempinski earlier this year.
