With celebrations for the Christmas and New Year season approaching, Four Seasons Safari Lodge Serengeti is introducing Creative Collaborations - partnerships with experts in the fields of photography and art to share their knowledge and skills with guests during their vacation at the Lodge this festive season.Pendael Naftal Mollel, ArtistFamous for his wildlife acrylics, Pendael Naftal Mollel will be present at the Lodge throughout the festive season, where guests will be able to see his works come to life stroke by stroke, with individual pieces also available to buy. Mollel, who is of Maasai origin, studied at the Art Cultural Association of Arusha (ACAA) and now uses the beauty of his work to help build awareness for the importance of conservation.Rick Collins, Wildlife PhotographerThose preferring to capture the landscape through a lens will have the opportunity to book a photography safari with renowned wildlife photographer Rick Collins. With years of experience in leading amateur wildlife photographers in dedicated photo safari workshops, Collins will offer both half and full day photographic safaris, during which he will assist guests on how to create the best composition for their photos and will offer tips on lighting, technique and focus. The photographic safari program includes a brief introduction session ahead of the game drive and time downloading and reviewing the images on return.
Located in the central Serengeti region, Four Seasons Safari Lodge is within a day's drive of many of the most popular sites for game viewing, with guests able to embark on their choice of half and full day game drives to the nearby Retima hippo pool and central Seronera region, or further afield to the Ngorongoro Crater, Moru Kopjes and Gong Rock.
Furthermore, guests staying at Four Seasons Safari Lodge this festive season will also be able to enjoy a choice of themed dining experiences, from East African specialties to Moroccan and international favourites, signature spa and wellness experiences, including the new four-handed baobab massage, the Kifalme Ritual, and interactive displays and educational documentaries at the on-site Discovery Centre.
