he Royal Orchid Hotels Limited, India 's fastest growing chain of hotels in the business class segment and the largest chain in Karnataka signed an exclusive territorial agreement with Ramada World Wide (part of Wyndham Group Worldwide). This agreement permits ROHL to manage and develop hotels under the Ramada brand in India .
Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Chender Baljee, Chairman and Managing Director, Royal Orchid Hotels, said, "It gives us immense pleasure to be associated with Ramada worldwide. This tie up will power an international brand with Indian management and hospitality. This partnership endorses and serves to consolidate our strength in the four star upper mid scale segment to which we cater."
Post Ramada's acquisition, Wyndham Worldwide, the world's largest hospitality company, has been aggressively looking to enter the Asian markets with big local players and this tie up is a result of that. ROHL provides the necessary management infrastructure, service delivery and understanding of the hospitality industry required for a large international venture. Royal Orchid has committed to build 10 hotels under the Ramada brand itself as proof of commitment to this venture. Royal Orchid in turn will manage third party owned Ramada hotels across India as well.
