Aptly named “The Art of Renaissance”, the new offer from Tanah Gajah, a Resort by Hadiprana, draws inspiration from a time in history marked by great change and creativity. The two-night (or more) stay consists of five experiences selected to introduce guests to the local culture, while helping them release what they need to from the year past and start afresh.

The offering includes the below:

An art tour of the former estate of a renowned collector - Dua Dari, a Resort by Hadiprana, is the former holiday home of the Hadiprana family. A collection from the late architect & art collector, Hendra Hadiprana, is spread out over the two-hectare site. Numerous colossal stone sculptures of women and angels perch throughout the verdant grounds and paintings from local artists can be found within the traditional Balinese buildings.

● A private bonfire at Dua Dari Ubud - Fire is thought to be the protector of humanity in Hinduism, the predominant religion in Bali, and is used in many Hindu ceremonies that form a rite of passage. Guests will enjoy a private bonfire followed by a BBQ dinner in a secluded section of the estate, surrounded by the glow of candlelight.

A purification ceremony at a local water temple - This water cleansing ritual is what Balinese do when they are stressed or under pressure, to bring them back into balance. As we enter a new phase this ceremony is a way for guests to wash away what they need to from the year prior.

Revival spa ritual overlooking the rice paddies - This two hour ritual at Tanah Gajah’s spa includes a one hour Balinese-style massage, followed by a 30-minute scrub using a blend of local coffee powder, rice bran flour, and mung bean powder (each of which has distinct benefits from anti-aging to sun protection). The ritual finishes with a herbal bath soak, using carefully selected plants like pandan leaves, a local symbol of wisdom used in temple offerings.

An inner reset with farm-to-table dining - Local, sustainable produce has long been at the core of Tanah Gajah’s food philosophy and the resort’s farm-to-table dining experience is a reflection of that. The omakase-style meal is an interactive dining experience with Chef Dean, with the backdrop to the meal being the organic garden where the food comes from.

Experiences were designed with social distancing in mind, something that also comes naturally at this six-hectare property with just 20 suites and villas on the outskirts of Ubud.

To help guests further feel at ease the entire property is sprayed down with disinfectant twice a week and housekeeping disinfects guest rooms on a daily basis. Hand sanitizer is available at all outlets (from the lobby to the swimming pool) and hand sanitizer is also distributed to each guest as well as a reusable fabric mask. The butler is the guest’s only point of personal contact and visitors will be escorted directly to their villa by their personal butler instead of checking in at the lobby.

The Art of Renaissance package will be available until December 23rd, 2021 with a special rate starting from USD 665 nett for two nights in One Bedroom Club Suite including club benefits.

Offre d'exception valable jusqu'au 23-12-2021
