Built in the 16th and 17th century, Casa a Corte is one of the oldest houses in town and after more than two years of embellishment, this Jewel emerges! The heritage and sophistication of the home can be red on its walls.
The moldings, arches and restored sculptures proudly dominate. The geometry of warm colors structures the spaces with elegance.
Decoration, furniture, everything from now on breathes sobriety, meticulously selected in Italy and Portugal by Anne and Sylvain, the French owners. Both experienced hoteliers, they are passionate about the "art de recevoir", motivating them to create a small cocoon of their own.
The 250 m² house can accommodate up to 10 guests and has a spacious living room and a fully equipped kitchen opening onto a private courtyard with a swimming pool where guests can relax under the orange tree, the ideal place for an al fresco lunch in the shade of the aranceto and for a refreshing bath on hot summer days.
Each of its 5 rooms has been decorated and designed to pay homage to this place full of history with a unique style.
The 3 superior rooms of 25m² Gallipoli, Aranceto and Acquaviva refer respectively to the mythical city on the Ionian Sea, to the fruit tree in the lovely courtyard next to the pool and to the history of Nardò and the moment when, in the 15th century, Andrea Matteo Acquaviva's son, Belisario, became the first duke of the city.
2 Prestige Suites of 30 square meters: The Great Cappella Room and The Great Colonna Room reflect all the finesse and elegance of the baroque style and the beauty of the Italian style of the 17th century with authentic stone columns and original paving. Each room is equipped with king-size beds and has its own en-suite bathroom.
Barbara, the resident manager, is on hand to attend to your every need!
The idyllic location of the house, in the historical center of Nardò, gives access to the best to the best restaurants in Salento to enjoy the authenticity of the area and the traditional Italian cuisine. It allows quick access to the beaches of Santa Maria al Bagno and Santa Caterina, in 10 minutes, while Gallipoli is 15 minutes away by car and Lecce, the famous Florence of the South, in 25 minutes.
