Hilton (NYSE: HLT) is celebrating a historic moment with the exciting announcement of its 100th trading or pipeline hotel in Türkiye.
In an agreement signed with Çalık Holding A.S., Canopy by Hilton Istanbul Taksim is expected to open in 2023 and will not only achieve a century of hotels either already operating or under development in Türkiye, but also signal the debut of the Canopy boutique lifestyle brand in the country.

Canopy by Hilton Istanbul Taksim will sit at the heart of Taksim 360, a major urban renewal project currently under construction with housing, offices, commercial areas, and shopping zones.
Situated next to Taksim Square and Istiklal Street, the easily accessible hotel will be in close proximity to Nisantasi, Karakoy and Bosphorus, and typifies the mission of the Canopy brand to offer hotels that are rooted in the most desirable neighbourhoods of cities around the world.
Nearby Istiklal Street is one of Istanbul’s most famous tourist hotspots, and is packed with boutiques, bookstores, art galleries, cinemas, cafes, bars, historical patisseries and restaurants.
Astonishingly, this pedestrian street is visited by up to three million people every day. A major subway station just 500 meters away from the hotel provides convenient travel connections for guests.
Canopy by Hilton Istanbul Taksim and its 110 guest rooms will be enriched with one-of-a-kind design features that will give the hotel distinct personality and charm.
A meeting room and a boardroom cater for business travellers, while three F&B outlets, a destination bar and a Canopy Central concept – which acts as the hub of the hotel – tick the box for guests on holiday.
