The currently operational hotel will be rebranded as SeleQtions.
The hotel is a management contract with Bliss Hotels Limited.
Commenting on the signing, Suma Venkatesh, Executive Vice President - Real Estate & Development, IHCL, said, “The signing of this hotel is in line with IHCL’s strategy of expanding its presence across India’s spiritual circuits. Tirupati is one of the largest pilgrimage destinations, attracting millions of devotees annually. With the introduction of the SeleQtions brand, this will be the company’s second hotel in the city. We are delighted to partner with Bliss Hotels Limited once again, bolstering the hospitality offering of this holy city.”
The 114-room hotel is strategically located at Ramanuja Circle, a short driving distance from the Venkateswara Temple, airport and railway station.
It will feature an all-day diner, a specialty vegetarian restaurant and bar. The hotel will also have banquet space and meeting rooms as well as recreation facilities including a swimming pool and gym. It is slated to open in 2023.
Mr. Balakrishna Reddy, Director, Bliss Hotels Ltd, said, “We are delighted to partner with IHCL for this SeleQtions hotel. This is our second hotel with the company after Taj Tirupati.”
With the addition of this hotel, IHCL will have seven hotels across brands including two under development in Andhra Pradesh.
