Inimitable creator of stylish hotels and resorts in exotic destinations worldwide, General Hotel Management Ltd (GHM), is culminating its 30th anniversary celebration this year with a delectable repertoire of food and beverage experiences across its internationally-acclaimed The Chedi properties.

Guests are welcome to partake in exceptional dining offers unique to each destination in celebration of GHM’s legacy in pioneering authentic luxury hospitality experiences.

The gourmet experiences follow GHM’s year-long festivity which began this March.

The third part of this celebratory 30 Years of a Style to Remember series comes after the group’s introduction of exclusive 30th anniversary stay experiences and rejuvenating wellness activities.

Each retreat has been thoughtfully curated to promote mindful living and highlight transformative experiences for guests’ singularly memorable journeys at The Chedi properties.

Master the Art of Middle Eastern and Levantine Cuisine at The Chedi Al Bait, Sharjah, UAE

At The Chedi Al Bait, Emirati hospitality begins with satisfying the discerning palates of epicurious guests. The hotel’s Cooking Class in Style allows guests to learn from the chefs at The Restaurant – one of Sharjah’s best restaurants – the culinary art of preparing Middle Eastern and Levantine cuisine.

A culinary theatre for the senses, this will inspire guests’ discovery of new cooking techniques that they can later replicate at home and savouring the flavour of Sharjah through delicacies made with unsparing attention to ingredients, taste and appearance.

Available all year round, the cooking class is priced at AED 300 per adult and comes with a package option at AED 1,000 for four adults. The package includes a three-course lunch menu following the cooking class, a copy of the recipes and certificate of participation to commemorate the experience.

There is also an ongoing Hotel Credit Offer for those in search of last-minute summer deals. Available until 30 September 2022, guests booking a stay in The Chedi Grand Room for AED 1,200 per night will receive the full amount in dining credit, redeemable in the hotel’s outlets for two lunch, two dinners and two spa treatments.

A World of Flavours and Suite Sensations Beckon at The Chedi Muscat, Oman

Guests residing at The Chedi Muscat in Oman can savour an exciting spread of Western, Asian, Middle Eastern and Indian fare prepared by Muscat’s finest culinary talents at The Restaurant.

With four open kitchens summoning a multi-sensory experience and choice of seating from the outdoor patio, private dining room to chic lounge areas, this is perfect for memorable dining affairs all year-round, complemented by the hotel’s range of award-winning wines.

Additionally, from now until 15 October 2022, the Suite Sensation offer allows guests to enjoy 20% off dining experiences during their luxurious stay in the hotel’s highly desirable Chedi Club Suites.

Starting from OMR 460++, the offer is valid for stays of at least two consecutive nights. It includes daily breakfast served at The Restaurant and 20% off spa treatments per person which are redeemable throughout the duration of stay, with early check-in and late check-out subject to availability.

Sumptuous Stays and Exquisite Gault Millau Dinners Await at The Chedi Andermatt, Switzerland

Envisaged as an immersive and memorable experience with some of the world’s finest wines, The Chedi Andermatt’s Gault Millau Dine & Style package complements the hotel’s desire to provide its guests with the very best.It features a stellar four-course dinner menu and dedicated wine pairing at The Restaurant.

Guests will be introduced to the hotel’s award-winning wine selection, which won first place under the ‘Sommelier’s Best,’ ‘Gourmet & Stars’ and ‘Best Sparkling Selection’ categories of the Swiss Wine List Award 2022.

As part of the package, guests will have access to The Spa & Health Club, CHF 50 credit for The Spa for each person and start their mornings at The Chedi Grand Breakfast Buffet.

Prices for the Gault Millau Dine & Style Package start at CHF 1,690 for two persons. The package is valid for stays of at least two consecutive nights in a room or suite of guests’ choice.

Revel in Asian Delights by the Bay and Romantic Bonfire Seaside Picnics at The Chedi Lustica Bay, Montenegro

The decadence continues by the bay with The Chedi Hotel & Residences Lustica Bay’s Summertime selection. Available daily from 6.30 to 11PM throughout September, the Asian Menu at The Rok features a thoughtful selection of regional favourites for a unique taste of Asia right by the Adriatic seaside.

Available exclusively at the property’s private beach, the Bonfire Picnic at The Chedi Beach make for a romantic seaside date at night. Taking place on 11 September 2022, the experience comes with a picnic backet for two containing sandwiches, a special cheese selection, grapes, grissini with prosciutto and marshmallows to end the evening on a sweet note.

The Bonfire Picnic is priced at €30 for two persons, with an additional option to include a choice of red or white wine in the picnic basket totaling & €50 for two persons.

As a dedicated F&B event of the Month, the hotel will host a Five Senses Degustation Dinner at The Spot Kitchen on 23 September 2022.

At €65 per person, the meal will entice the senses as it incorporates the exquisite tastes of five-star wines and chef-hatting dining, alluring aromas from exclusive scented candles, captivating sights of silent movies and the soothing symphony of a live String Quartet Ensemble – all with the added touch of class.

“The curation of our 30th anniversary culinary offerings stemmed from the fact that a celebratory meal is often the unanimous choice when it comes to commemorate momentous occasions.” Said Tommy Lai, chief executive officer of GHM.

“We look forward to honouring our legacy with the upcoming launch of The Chedi Katara Hotel & Resort in Doha this November as well.”

In conjunction with GHM’s pearl anniversary celebration, the group is marking its debut in Qatar this November with the iconic opening of The Chedi Katara Hotel & Resort in Doha.

This landmark will be GHM’s third property in the GCC region and is well-aligned with Qatar’s rising prominence as some of the world’s preferred year-round travel destinations.

Its debut will also coincide with the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 – the biggest event ever hosted in the country.
