The hotel will also unveil a patisserie collaboration and the set up of intimate “conversations” throughout the year.

A Family Home

A hotel with a quasi-secret address, the San Régis conveys the authentic charm of a private family mansion. This distinctive quality lies in its intimate spirit, known to a select few, with knowledge of its location travelling by word of mouth over the years.

The hotel's strong sense of family is rooted in its history: Owned by the Georges family for 40 years, it is now managed by Sarah and Zeina, the daughters of Elie Georges. But it is also owing to the loyalty of its staff that the hotel’s family spirit continues on.

The hotel is proud to have a welcoming and enthusiastic team that cultivates the art of the personal touch with good spirits and sincerity. That is why this friendliness is naturally passed on to the clients whose warm greetings and displays of kindness resonate in the reception area of the hotel.

A Well-kept Secret

Like a well-kept secret, the San Régis, having attracted some of the most prominent figures of society, owes its renown to its famous clients.

Romy Schneider, Louis Malle and Richard Avedon have all chosen to stay here, and the legendary editor-in-chief of Harper’s Bazaar US, Carmel Snow, who made it famous by uttering in her usual room at the hotel the phrase that changed forever the history of Monsieur Dior: ‘Dear Christian, your dresses have such a new look! ’.

It is of course not by chance that one of the current managers cut her teeth in the fashion house on Avenue Montaigne before entering the family business.

The 100-year Anniversary Programme

Starting in May : 100 years of history

A look back at 100 years of history and the famous names that marked it.

To transform a trip into a moment of family bonding, the San Régis offers a Harcourt family portrait to all its clients staying in the Harcourt Family Suite from the first of May to the thirty-first of December 2023.

Starting in July : The Secrets of the San Régis

Since family is synonymous with cultivation and the handing down of knowledge, the San Régis will take advantage of its 100-year anniversary to organise lunches starting in July that will offer intimate conversations,“Les Petites Confidences du San Régis” based on subjects near and dear to it.

The first ones will be:

“ What a lovely private mansion, just like the San Régis ! ”, the history of Parisian private mansions.

“ Paris is the place for fashion! ”, the history of Parisian fashion.

“ Host your guests of course, but not like savages! ”, the art of French hosting

Starting in September : First patisserie collaboration (additional information to follow very soon)

First collaboration around the theme of the family snack time with Jessica Prealpato, the former patisserie chef of the Plaza Athénée *** restaurant, twice crowned in 2019 "Best patisserie chef in the world" by the ranking of the World's 50 Best Restaurants then "patisserie chef of the year" by the Gault & Millau guide.

With the start of the new school year, new “Petites Confidences du San Régis”, for children this time, will focus on education in taste and good manners.

The programmes and registration for “Les Petites Confidences du San Régis” start on June 1st on the website www.hotel-sanregis.fr/ Les Petites Confidences du San Régis.

These talks will also be the subject of a podcast “Les Petites Confidences du San Régis” that can be listened to again and again.
