The World Travel Award is one of the most important awards in the travel and hotel sector. The winners for the year 2007 were chosen from the votes of tens of thousands international travel professionals at the 14th Award Ceremony in Abu Dhabi: The 5-star Mövenpick Hotel & Resort Beirut thereby received the award for the leading resort in Lebanon.
The Mövenpick Hotel & Resort Beirut, the only city centre hotel with resort facilities, is located directly on the Mediterranean coast, close to the famous Raouche Rock and only a few minutes from downtown Beirut. With 292 rooms, including 25 suites, two Executive, two Diplomat and one President Suite, this first class hotel offers extremely comfortable accommodation to both business and leisure travellers.
