Conrad Hotels & Resorts has announced the signing of Conrad Buenos Aires.
Located in the fashionable Puerto Madero district of the city, the Conrad Buenos Aires will consist of a distinctive 190 guest room hotel and 350 Conrad Residences. The hotel will also feature a signature restaurant and stylish lobby bar, a swimming pool alongside the latest fitness facilities and nearly 7,000 square feet of meeting space.
Previously a forgotten port, the area of Puerto Madero has benefited from investment and is now one of the most stylish parts of Buenos Aires bursting with restaurants, shops and a vibrant nightlife.
Richard Blamey, Senior Vice President Brand Management, Conrad Hotels & Resorts, comments: “Conrad Buenos Aires will appeal to discerning leisure and business travellers. Our guests expect an exclusive luxury environment with individual style, sophisticated service and most significantly, a place where they can truly engage with the local culture.”
Conrad Buenos Aires will form part of an extensive development project comprising office and retail space as well as underground parking for 1,200 cars, all within easy reach of Ministro Pistarini International Airport.
Construction of the Conrad Buenos Aires is expected to begin in 2008 with completion scheduled in 2010.
