Sales Manager - Corporate & Meetings, Conference & Incentive Market (M,C & I) (M/F)



JOB DESCRIPTION
Responsible for:

Conference and Incentive on the national market (cross sell with international markets when needed). International sports federation, Top-end corporate accounts (medical, universities, automotive…); agencies.

Responsible for the French speaking market, France, Italy: Corporate luxury, markets and M,C & I segments.

Job Scope:

Responsible for developing new high-yield accommodation business from the Corporate, M,C & I and leisure markets for “Royal Savoy”, Lausanne in order to maximize revenue and achieve the targets agreed for the property. The sell of the sister hotels of the “Bürgenstock Selection” is also part of the role.

Responsible for further business development, DMC, agencies, and M,C & I agents/end users.

Sales efforts will be directed towards the mentioned markets may involve liaison with overseas contacts (thus depending on the market interaction).


PROFILE
  • Between 3 to 5 years of sales experience in an upper upscale/luxury hotel in Europe.
  • Must have experience in the hospitality industry.
  • Graduate or University degree
  • Excellent knowledge of English and French (spoken and written), German is a plus.
  • Proven actual and past sales track record with strong pro-active approach, good deal closer and efficient sales administration
  • Knowledge and practice of: Powerpoint, Excel, Word, Outlook
  • Opera, Fidelio knowledge and practice is an asset
  • Active in social Media for business
  • High personal and professional values/ethics, integrity
  • Availability to travel X% of the working time.
  • Possesses valid driving license
