The REGIONAL SALES MANAGER (M/W) will be responsible for managing an account portfolio with the aim to generate and maximize the Collection and Hotels revenue and market share. He/she will be responsible for prospecting clients and filling assigned hotels. Key to this role is building relationships and developing networks within the accounts portfolio in order to increase revenue and conversion.
Main duties:
Participate in all sales activities and work in line with the sales and marketing plan for the various market segments in order to exceed hotel revenue and targets
Promoting the hotel brand, contracting new business and maximizing revenue for the hotel.
Establishing outstanding businesses relationships within local, domestic and US markets monitoring competitors’ activities and market intelligence
Attending travel functions and sales road shows and organizing sales trip to promote sales for the collection
Responsible for business development in the B-to-B markets, the individual corporate and leisure segments
Conduct client meetings as well as planning and coordinating site introduction tours, inspections and FAM Trips.
Handle and manage client’s queries or issues
Ensure accurate and timely updating of an accurate record of all relevant activities in the provided Sales System
Develop and maintain contact with business generators
Definition and implementation of business strategies
Report directly to the Director of Sales who will provide coaching and support to enable you to achieve what you are driving for.
Measure the impact and performance of implemented actions by monthly reporting to management
Profil :
Knowledge on the US and Italian market would be appreciated
Bachelor’s degrees in Sales & Marketing or related field
A minimum of 3 years of Sales experience in travel business (knowledge on the US market would be appreciated)
Excellent communication skills
Fluent in Italian and English - French as a third language would be appreciated
Passion to lead and a desire to succeed
The ability to meet sales targets and work in a highly pressurized, fast-paced environment.
