The readers of the influential US-based travel, tourism and lifestyle magazine also voted The Peninsula Paris among the world’s 50 best hotels.

Just one year after opening, The Peninsula Paris was voted as the Best Hotel in France, the fifth Best Hotel in Europe, and placed 48th on the Best Hotels in the World list. Located in a late 19th century Haussmanian building on Avenue Kléber, The Peninsula Paris resides in the heart of the French capital. This beautiful heritage hotel has been meticulously restored and discreetly modernised enabling guests to experience the ultimate in 21st century style and convenience.

Opened in 2009 on the historic Bund riverfront as The Peninsula Hotels’ flagship hotel in Mainland China, The Peninsula Shanghai was named the Best Hotel in China. A doyen of global luxury hospitality since 1928, The Peninsula Hong Kong was voted in 8th position on the list. Superbly located in the prestigious business district of Marunouchi, opposite the Imperial Palace and Hibiya Park, The Peninsula Tokyo was voted in 9th place on the Best Hotels in Japan list.

This year, more than 128,000 discerning global travellers took part in the 28th annual Condé Nast Traveler Readers' Choice Awards survey, the most in its history. The Readers’ Choice Awards recognises the world’s Best Hotels and Resorts, Best Cities, Best Islands, Best Airlines and Best Cruise Lines. Regional rankings for each category are also prepared for Europe, India, China, Japan & North Asia, Africa, the Middle East, Canada, Mexico, Caribbean and Central America, South America, Australia and the Pacific.
