How do I post a job vacancy? Do I send you my text?
As soon as your recruitment space is available, you can post your first job vacancy online. You can do this with our easy-to-use online form which will guide you through the process. You can also choose from different options to make your job vacancy stand out: select layouts, multimedia (photos, videos, social networks, etc.) and a range of settings. We can, of course, assist you if necessary through our chat box which can be found at the bottom right-hand side corner of all our pages.

How do I renew my No Limit subscription or buy new credits?

How do I search for a specific profile in your database?

How long does it take for my request to join the Journal des Palaces to be studied and approved by your departments?
Once we have received your request, we will answer it as quickly as possible, Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm.

Generally, our services will get back to you by e-mail within 2 hours if the request is received within the days and times indicated above.

It is important to note that we are a very small team. Therefore, in busy periods, this time may be slightly extended, but we will always do our best to reduce this waiting time.

How will I be able to pay my invoice once my order is placed?
We offer three different ways to pay your invoice.

When you place your order, you can choose one of the following three methods:
1- cheque
2- bank transfer
3- credit card via a secure online payment link

I am a recruitment or communication agency, can I post jobs for my clients with you?
To provide our clients (luxury and ultra-luxury hotels and gourmet restaurants) with the best possible personalised service, we exclusively promote an exchange without intermediary. Therefore, you can't subscribe on behalf of your clients on our website. If your customers wish to use our services, we invite them to contact us or to visit our website, so that they can subscribe to one of our packages on their behalf. If they then want you to manage their recruitment, they will be able to give you the access codes to their Recruiter Account. This will allow you to manage the jobs and applications received.

I am an HR specialist for a hotel group. Where would I post our vacancies?
It is important to note that every recruitment space is linked to the recruiter’s physical address to avoid confusion for candidates. This is valid for both the pay-as-you-go and unlimited options. There should, therefore, be one recruitment space per hotel.

We suggest that hotel groups create a Head Office recruitment space for all vacancies available at the Head Office of the group, as well as a recruitment space for each individual hotel. Each hotel then chooses the option best adapted to their needs at the time: pay-as-you-go for limited needs and unlimited for two or more vacancies. The latter can be on a monthly basis or for a longer period.
We then link all your recruitment pages to create a group which you can navigate easily to publish all your vacancies. You can also move the text of a vacancy from one hotel’s page to another and simply adapt it as necessary. There is no need to write your job description again.

We offer a discount for two hotels from the same group who each subscribe to the unlimited option for the period of one year (12 months). The more hotels from the same group who subscribe at the same time for one year, the larger the discount.

For example, if six hotels take up the annual subscription at the same time for a period of one year, it will cost €-1,200 per year instead of €-1,800 (which works out as only €-100 per month for unlimited access to CVs and posting of vacancies).

I am not a gourmet restaurant or a luxury hotel, can my company post jobs on your website?
We have been assisting ultra-luxury and luxury hotels and gourmet restaurants with their recruitment since 2004.

However, we know that some of our candidates may be interested in other companies very close to this industry. In addition, luxury hotel cuisine is evolving and sometimes taking a different route. We therefore might suggest that other companies with the same expectations of candidates and the same quest for excellence as luxury hotels recruit on the Journal des Palaces. 4-star hotels, luxury hotel residences, luxury houses (haute couture, perfumery, watchmaking, etc.), restaurant concepts, suppliers and service providers, etc., are thus able to publish their offers on our Career Pages.

However, it is important to note that companies that are not luxury hotels or gourmet restaurants must detail their primary motivation in the job offers and highlight their identity, their advantages and the reason why they believe they have the assets to attract candidates from our industry.

I have more than one company. What happens?
It's important to know that a Recruiter Account, whether in the Offer Credit or No Limit package, is necessarily linked to the precise address of the recruiting company, so that the place of work is clear to our applicants and to avoid any misunderstandings. There is therefore one Recruiter Account per company.

Each company chooses the package best suited to its situation at the time (few needs, job credit package, more than two jobs to fill, the No Limit package by the month or over a longer period).

We then link all the Recruiter Accounts together so that you can move easily from one to another.

We offer a volume discount when two or more companies each subscribe to a No Limit package for one year (12 months). The more companies sign up at the same time for a one-year period, the lower the rate.

For six or more companies, the rate is €1,200 per year instead of €1,800 (i.e. only €100 per month instead of €180 for unlimited publication of jobs and consultation of CVs).

Once this request has been studied and validated by our services, you will receive an email inviting you to create your online order.

Once you have confirmed and paid your order, you will have access to your Recruiter Account to search for profiles and publish jobs.

This will take you to our contact form. Please select "Raise a problem" from the drop-down menu, then copy and paste the URL of the page on which you have a problem.

You can then complete your request.
We encourage you to be as specific as possible, for example by giving us the exact text of the error message you are seeing and sending us a screenshot or video (Loom is free and very practical) to show us exactly what is happening (error message, display problem, etc.).

In which languages can I post a job?
The Journal des Palaces career pages are bilingual in English and French, as is the entire website.

When adding or modifying an offer, you indicate the language in which the offer is written.

It is important that the position offered and all your text is in the same language as the language indicated at the time of addition or modification. Otherwise your offer will not be displayed on the correct version of the website and candidates will not be able to read a text that is not in their language (especially for English speakers).

Similarly, we advise you not to put a title in English with a description in French so as not to confuse and miss out on potentially interested candidates who may think that the main language for the job is English.

Is it possible to add my logo on my offers and company presentation?
Yes, our two packages No Limit and Job Credits, include more than 30 tools and services at no extra cost, such as the logo on your jobs and presentation page, but also your social networks, a cover, the colour of your choice on the title of the job or even the photos of your choice. We believe that it is very important that your job offers and your presentation page highlight your employer brand as much as possible.

Is it possible to publish my jobs anonymously?
It is possible to publish your jobs anonymously at no extra cost. To do this, you will have two recruiter accounts: a main account with the name of your company and an anonymous account with the name of your choice (example: 5-star hotel in London). You will be able to switch easily from one space to the other thanks to a drop-down menu located in the navigation menu.

To request this anonymous account, simply ask for it when you place your order.

We guarantee the complete confidentiality of your company during anonymous recruitment. However, we would like to inform you that the returns may be less good, as candidates may be afraid to apply to their own company.

My ATS or job distribution provider is not on your list. How could I integrate jobs with a new ATS or job distribution provider?

We invite you to fill in a form to submit your ATS / job distribution provider, from your recruiter account. Click on the tab “Job ads / Integration of your jobs via a job distribution provider or ATS”.

Once we have received your request, we will contact them, and we will send them our technical documentation in order to set up the integration of your jobs.

Once we have received the elements, we develop the technical part on our site and then activate the integration for this new ATS / job distribution provider.

The time required will depend on the complexity of the file and can take up to a month.

Only 30 euros difference between your two packages! Why such a small difference in price?
The No Limit package allows us to offer our applicants a maximum number of jobs, as recruiters do not hesitate to publish all the profiles they are looking for, from commis to directors, without worrying about the cost. We have adapted the price so that as two jobs are posted at the same time, the No Limit package becomes more attractive than the job credit. For new customers, this No Limit package allows them to use all our services for the first time without limit and to see the feedback from several different jobs and not just one.

What advertising solutions do you offer to promote my recruitment in general, my jobs or even a recruiting day?
Journal des Palaces offers several advertising tools to highlight your recruitment, your jobs or your events: banners, paving stones, company highlight, options on a job (top of results, box and bold or top of results and bold).

It is important to note that these features are reserved exclusively for Journal des Palaces clients.

What do you offer to highlight my employer brand?
We know how important it is to stand out and highlight your employer brand.

We offer you the opportunity to do so, at no extra cost, thanks to the following tools that can be configured from a recruiter account , regardless of the package chosen.

Here is the list of possible settings:
- The word of your GM
- Your values
- Your benefits
- Your testimonials, interviews and news related to your recruitment
- Your colour (on buttons, titles and subtitles)
- A nice cover photo
- Photos
- A video
- A presentation of the company
- Your social networks

What happens at the end of a No Limit subscription? Do I have to do anything?
The No Limit package is without commitment.

Before the end of your subscription, you will receive an email to remind you of the end date. You can then decide whether to renew. If you do not renew it, your subscription will automatically end at midnight on the evening of the last day.

Your jobs that still have publication days left will remain online until the end of their publication period, or for a maximum of 30 days. You will be able to log in to see the applications received for these jobs.

When you subscribe again to one of our two packages, you will find all your history with us on your recruiter account: previous ads, presentation, photos, employer brand, etc.

What happens if I haven't used my subscription and it has expired?
As your order was placed more than 7 days ago, you can no longer request its cancellation and refund.

However, we can modify your subscription dates in order to reactivate it and allow you to benefit from it as of today and for the period purchased.

What is the duration of the subscription?
We have two packages:

-The No Limit package: you choose the duration that suits you best, from 1 to 12 months.
-The Job Credit package: which has no validity period, i.e. the credit purchased has no expiry date.

Both our packages are also without commitment.

What kind of feedback can I expect in terms of the number of applications?
For us, the main thing is quality and not quantity, so a job rarely receives around fifty applications, for example. At Journal des Palaces, we will not commit ourselves to a minimum number of applications that you will receive, as we know very well that this can be extremely variable from one company to another and from one position to another. The location of the company, its reputation, and its management, but also the type of position and the profile sought are essential points that mean that the feedback can be very different. For example, profiles such as chef de partie or chef de rang are difficult to find, as the offer is more important than the demand. We bring you visibility. It is up to you to convince the candidates! For our part, to ensure the best possible feedbacks, we are engaged to provide you with maximum visibility in the luxury hotel sector on our website, in the newsletter, with candidates, our partners from schools, alumni and professional associations, and on our social networks... When you join the Journal, you join prestigious and renowned luxury hotels and gourmet restaurants, so you have to know how to stand out to make a difference with candidates! This is why you should be attentive to the quality of your jobs and the promotion of your employer brand using the tools available on the Journal des Palaces' Recruiter Account. It is the combination of our joint efforts that will make the difference in terms of quantity and quality of applications received.

When I subscribe to one of your packages, what is the duration of my commitment?
Our subscriptions are commitment-free.

When you purchase a credit to post a job offer, it has no expiration date. You can publish your job whenever it suits you.

If you choose our No Limit package, you have the option to subscribe for a period ranging from 1 to 12 months. Once your subscription period ends, it will automatically terminate unless you decide to renew for an additional period.

If you choose not to renew, your job offers will remain online until the end of their display period, and your account will remain accessible during that time.

Where are my jobs published and distributed?
Your jobs are published on our site as soon as you put them online.

We then distribute your jobs within 24 hours on weekdays:
- To our applicant who have asked to receive job alerts
- To our partners: schools, alumni associations, trade associations
- In our daily newsletter
- On our social networks Facebook and also on LinkedIn

Who are your customers?

Why do your emails arrive in my spam folder?
There are two important things to know about spam:
- One in six messages sent worldwide do not reach the inbox, no matter how hard the sender tries to avoid ending up in spam.
- Only the email owner can see whether an email has arrived in the inbox or whether it has been filtered to a folder or sent as spam.

It should be noted that the deliverability of an email depends on a multitude of factors and spam filter settings.

Will my jobs be online right away?
When you post a new job, you can specify whether it should go live immediately or at a later date (for example, if it needs approval by a colleague before going live).
If you choose to publish immediately, the job will be saved and appear online as soon as you have clicked the button at the bottom of the form.
