Raffles Hotels & Resorts will present the exceptional cuisine the group is renowned for onboard the luxurious all-suite Silver Shadow, when Raffles chefs board the
ship on its World Cruise 2008 Voyage from Singapore to Colombo(15th to 22nd March).
Over the course of this week-long gastronomic adventure on the high seas, Raffles chefs will present two culinary demonstrations and two exquisite four-course dinners featuring menus comprising celebrated dishes from five iconic Raffles properties, namely Raffles Hotel Singapore, Raffles Beijing Hotel, Raffles Grand Hotel d’Angkor, Siem Reap, Raffles Hotel Le Royal, Phnom Penh, and Raffles Resort Canouan Island. Guests on the Silver Shadow will be able to look forward to savouring delicacies such as Karashi Miso Codfish with Seaweed Risotto and Bonito Emulsion
from Raffles Hotel Singapore, Deep-fried Crispy Seafood Wonton from both Raffles properties in Cambodia, Hot and Sour Soup from Raffles Beijing Hotel and the refreshing Warm Langra Mango with Banana Ice Cream from Raffles Resort Canouan Island in the Caribbean.
Representing Raffles Hotels & Resorts are Chef Lim Jon Jin and Chef James Ngwan from Raffles Hotel Singapore. Chef Lim is from the award-winning Doc Cheng’s restaurant while Chef Ngwan is from the acclaimed Bar & Billiard Room.
