Four Seasons Hotel Amman is delighted to have new Chef, Chamlong Pewthaison, on board at Asia, its speciality pan-Asian restaurant. Affectionately known as “Chef Jimmy”, Pewthaison brings along his many skills direct from his native Thailand.
Chef Jimmy is well versed in the Four Seasons repertoire, and comes to Amman from the group’s Chiang Mai Resort, where he was Thai Master Chef. He has also honed his culinary talents at Four Seasons Hotel Bangkok where he worked as Commis I Chef. Outside of his home country, Chef Jimmy has worked in hotels and restaurants in India, Germany and Hong Kong. His most interesting professional experiences include cooking for Her Royal Highness Princess Chulabhon Mahidol and the President of Panama.
Asia is a contemporary restaurant serving a wide array of dishes from that multi-faceted Eastern continent. It is situated on the upper lobby level of the Amman property. With its innovative show kitchen and panoramic views over the city, it is an exciting venue for guests craving authentic flavours from Japan, Thailand and soon – also China. Amongst its specialities is the \'White Plate\' tasting menu, featuring five scrumptious appetisers. The restaurant seats 54.
