HRH Prince Alwaleed bin Talal bin Abdulaziz Alsaud, chairman of Kingdom Holding Company (KHC) announced his decision to assign Eng. Mr. Talal AlMaiman (Executive Director for Development & Domestic Investments and KHC Board Member) as chairman of Kingdom Hospital.
Kingdom Hospital is majority owned by KHC and HRH’s decision was the second decision implemented after appointing Mr. AlMaiman chairman of Fashion Village Trading (Saks Fifth Avenue). Mr. AlMaiman expressed his joy and gratitude at being appointed the new post and said: “I would like to express my gratitude and appreciation to HRH for assigning me this position; HRH’s faith in me to continue the management of this successful investment that he had began, is an honor.”
Eng. AlMaiman joined KHC around 13 years ago and throughout that time he has proved to be one of the most capable and prominent Saudi professionals in the management of projects and investments in various sectors. Moreover, he is board member of the Savola Group which is also one of KHC’s investments in Saudi Arabia.
Prince Alwaleed referred to Mr. AlMaiman’s loyalty and dedication to KHC throughout the past 13 years, and his continuous abilities and the endeavors that he has productively undertaken among the group through those leadership positions. One of the priorities of Prince Alwaleed vision is granting exceptional Saudi women and men opportunities, while continuously supporting and encouraging those outstandingly competent Saudi’s in all fields.
HRH also explained his interest and regard to the Saudi citizen’s important role in improving and developing the overall Saudi economy, as Saudization at KHC has now reached 72%.
