Regent Seven Seas Cruises was honored earlier this month with the 2008 WAVE (Western Agents' Votes of Excellence) Award in the category of "Best All-Inclusive Cruise Product" from respected travel industry publication TravelAge West, which sponsors the award competition.
Over 125 companies, individuals and destinations were celebrated by TravelAge West readers at the WAVE Awards ceremony, held on June 5. Honorees were recognized in 47 categories spanning the cruise, tour operator, airline, hotel and resort, and destination travel categories. Travel agency professionals throughout the 14 Western states, along with readers of TravelAge West, were invited to vote on the best-of-the-best from a list of Editor's Pick award recipients chosen after careful review by Editor-in-Chief Ken Shapiro and the TravelAge West editorial team. Review methods included product analysis, on-site visits, a survey of a select group of travel agents and online research.
"For each category, the editors on our staff did extensive research. All of the recipients should feel proud of their achievement," said Shapiro.

The open-seating dining policy aboard Regent Seven Seas Cruises means guests can dine whenever, wherever and with whomever they choose during regular dining hours. In some of the alternative restaurants, reservations are recommended.
