The Dow Hotel Company (DHC), a hotel owner/investor and hotel management company, today announced that it received the “Service Excellence Award” at the Marriott International National Association Conference, held recently at the Renaissance Esmeralda Resort & Spa in Indian Wells, Calif. The award is given to independent, third-party management companies whose Marriott-branded portfolios achieved outstanding guest satisfaction survey (GSS) scores between July 2007 and July 2008. DHC manages two Marriott-branded hotels--the 371-suite Anaheim Marriott Suites in California and the 248-suite Chicago Marriott Suites Deerfield in Illinois—both of which received outstanding scores.
“It is especially gratifying being recognized by our guests, the true judges of quality, for our hard work and efforts to make their overall experience at our Marriott properties enjoyable and memorable beyond their expectations,” said Murray L. The “Service Excellence Award” is determined solely on the basis of guest survey results and is awarded annually to Marriott’s owners and franchise partners whose portfolio of Marriott-branded full-service hotels and resorts achieve certain designated levels of guest satisfaction. The award was presented by John Moore, senior vice president of owner and franchise services, and Michael Lusick, vice president of owner and franchise services.
