Cancun Resort Continues Reign as Mexico's Longest Standing Recipient of Prestigious AAA Award
The style, service and world-class amenities of the Fiesta Americana Grand Coral Beach Cancun have earned the resort the distinction of holding the coveted AAA Five Diamond Award for fifteen consecutive years, longer than any other hotel in Mexico. To further commemorate this significant milestone, AAA Director Tony Perrone personally presented the hotel with its fifteenth Five Diamond Award.
"We are in a hotel that has helped set the standard of hospitality in Mexico and North America," stated Perrone. "In fact, this hotel is in the top 25 of all hotels in North America to have been awarded the Five Diamond for fifteen years or more and is one of the very few Five Diamond hotels to have its own separately rated Five Diamond restaurant."
The 602-suite-only, oceanfront property boasts three award-winning restaurants, including the French Mediterranean restaurant, Le Basillic, which recently earned Five Diamonds, as well as an award-winning spa, which is soon to become the largest in Cancun, thanks to a series of expansion projects currently underway.
Premier hospitality and personalized attention, however, are what have particularly distinguished the resort from its competitors, including the other 58,000 establishments under consideration by AAA. Based on criteria of exemplary quality and service, just a quarter of one percent of all AAA Diamond-rated lodgings throughout the U.S., Mexico, Canada and the Caribbean achieve the exclusive status of Five Diamonds, placing the Fiesta Americana Grand Coral Beach Cancun in an elite group of just 100 hotels and 58 restaurants.
