The Riviera Maya's largest luxury meeting facility is now open at Grand Velas All Suites & SPA Resort Riviera Maya, the latest and most sophisticated iteration of the ultra-luxury, all-inclusive resort experience. Building on the success of its AAA 5-Diamond-ranked sister property in Nuevo Vallarta, this Leading Hotels of the World designated resort is the preeminent one of its class boasting 493 suites, each more than 1,000 square-feet, in three separate ambiances--adult-only Oceanfront Ambassador Grand Class Suites, family-friendly Ambassador Suites and Master Suites embraced by the flora and fauna of the Yucatan Peninsula's jungle. Featuring a total of 91,457 square feet of indoor and outdoor meeting and event space that can accommodate from 10 to 3,000 guests, the resort's meeting facilities are ideal for conventions, incentive groups, reunions, weddings, and small social gatherings. Suitable for any meeting or event, big or small, Grand Velas Riviera Maya offers 47,090 square feet of indoor flexible space for large conferences as well as an additional 1,840 sq. ft flexible facility with panoramic views for more elegant affairs. The convention center can be converted into 30 breakout rooms and two spacious ballrooms with an additional six meeting rooms and two offices. The resort's 32,614 sq ft outdoor beachside, pool and lawn areas that brush the jungle provide a more natural alternative.
Meeting Room Amenities and Services
All of the resort's meeting areas have wireless internet access and are fully equipped with the latest technical advances including top-of-the-line audio-visual equipment, video conferencing services, integrated back projection, voice and data, high-tech screen system, high-end lighting equipment, and LCD projectors. Technical support, CD and DVD reproduction, and secretarial and translation services are offered. A fully-equipped business center with private offices, storage space, printers and copiers and the largest lift in the area suitable for large promotional items such as a car are also available.
Themed Nights
For memorable events, there are four pre-planned themed parties available for groups. The Tequila Night includes tequila tastings, tequila cocktail preparations and decorations with Agave plants and art and crafts from five different Mexican states. The Egypt Night features sculptures of Egyptian gods, pyramids, hieroglyphics and Egyptian attire. A Mayan Jungle Night, with fire dancers, natural foliage and trained parrots, macaws and monkeys, as well as an Olimpio Greek Night featuring Greek music, trapeze, juggling and acrobatic fire show, are also offered. Custom-designed themed parties can also be arranged.
Catering Services
Grand Velas Riviera Maya offers a variety of catered food menus for any meeting or event. Meeting planners can also work directly with the resort's top-notch chef for a customized menu. Food and beverage offerings at the resort include eight restaurants, five of which are gourmet serving a la carte choices for French, Italian, Mexican, Asian and Spanish cuisine, as well as international premium brand liquors and imported wines.
