Marriott International's New Meetings Excellence! Program Now Offered in Multiple Languages

Marriott International, Inc. (NYSE:MAR) announced today that its successful Meetings Excellence! (ME!) program is now offered in eight languages other than English; including French, German, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, Chinese, Japanese, and Turkish.
“We are always thrilled to announce the expansion of our intermediary programs into multiple languages,” said Julius Robinson, vice president of global sales intermediaries for Marriott International, Inc. He added, “We recognize the importance of serving our customers in their language of choice, and we hope that this new enhancement will help to better meet the needs of our intermediary partners around the world.”
Meetings Excellence!, originally launched in January, is the most comprehensive training in the hotel industry for intermediary group meeting professionals, addressing their training needs at every level. It is a self-paced online training course and features three modules that include an in-depth introduction to the meetings industry, strategies for planning a successful meeting, and information about Marriott brands, programs, and services.
In addition to receiving certification as a “Marriott Meeting Professional,” Meetings Excellence! graduates are eligible for Marriott’s discounted Plan-Tastic familiarization rates starting at $44USD at over 3,200 hotels around the world. They will also be eligible for other exclusive benefits including Continuing Education Units towards CMP certification and recertification, and the opportunity to receive special consolidated e-communications with promotions, offers, and news from Marriott.
