Swissôtel The Stamford, Singapore, the lion city’s towering icon of hospitality, soared to even greater heights as it was unanimously voted by readers of TTG Asia, TTG China, TTGmice and TTG-BTmice China as Asia Pacific’s Best Business Hotel, BT-MICE Awards category, at the prestigious 20th TTG Travel Awards 2009.
Swissôtel The Stamford, Singapore, the lion city’s towering icon of hospitality, soared to even greater heights as it was unanimously voted by readers of TTG Asia, TTG China, TTGmice and TTG-BTmice China as Asia Pacific’s Best Business Hotel, BT-MICE Awards category, in the prestigious 20th TTG Travel Awards 2009. Swissôtel The Stamford joins an elite company of individuals and organisations who were honoured at the 2009 awards ceremony held in Bangkok, Thailand, an event that has become an industry tradition and a highlight on Asia’s travel trade calendar.
The TTG Travel Awards is widely acknowledged to be one of the travel and hospitality industry’s most coveted and influential awards in the region, recognising some of the industry’s finest representatives that have consistently shown an unsurpassable commitment towards service excellence. The BT-MICE Awards category is dedicated to organisations serving the niche markets of business travel and meetings, incentives, conventions and exhibitions (MICE). The key considerations to excelling in this category include outstanding service and facilities, the most professional and innovative sales and marketing team and the most desirable and attractive incentives as well as value added services to business travellers and MICE planners.

Swissôtel The Stamford, recipient of the World Travel Awards Asia 2008 Asia's Leading Conference Hotel and Singapore's Leading Conference Hotel award, is renowned for hosting significant events. Recently, it served as the Official Athletes Hotel for the 1st Asian Youth Games Singapore 2009 (AYG) hosting 1,400 youth athletes from 45 countries in June / July 2009.
