The Mövenpick Hotel Istanbul has won the tourism world’s Oscar, the World Travel Awards prize for “Europe’s Leading Business Hotel”. Presented on October 17, 2009, the award is based on votes by over 180,000 travel experts from around the world and recognizes the excellence of the Mövenpick Hotel Istanbul’s service and the outstanding quality of its facilities.
Turkey’s first “boutique business hotel”, the Mövenpick Hotel Istanbul has always prided itself on providing superior services to its guests along with attention to detail and professionalism.
The award was presented to Mövenpick Hotel Istanbul General Manager and Regional Manager Turkey, Frank Reichenbach by World Travel Awards President Graham Cooke.
Reichenbach summed up the hotel’s philosophy saying, “Earning this award, as well as being a great honour for us, is the result of our team’s quest for continuous improvement and their untiring efforts to meet and exceed the expectations of frequent business travellers. What makes the entire team proudest is that over 50% of all of our guests are repeat guests who were satisfied with the service and amenities they enjoyed and chose to visit again. Our other business hotel in Turkey the Mövenpick Hotel Izmir and the Mövenpick Hotel Ankara, which will open in 2010, will follow the same philosophy. We will continue to add new services to meet our guests’ technological needs, offering the highest quality solutions.”
This award joins many others in what is becoming a crowded trophy case that is testimony to the Mövenpick Hotel Istanbul’s commitment to excellence and guest satisfaction. In addition to winning World Travel Awards in the “Turkey’s Leading Business Hotel” category in 2007 and 2008, the Mövenpick Hotel Istanbul also won Skal International Turkey’s award for “Best City Hotel” in 2005.
