Morgans Hotel Group Co. (NASDAQ:MHGC) (“MORGANS”) today announced Wilhelmina Models new offices at Mondrian in South Beach. Welcoming Wilhelmina Models as the newest and most fashionable member of the Mondrian family alongside Sunset Lounge and Asia de Cuba, the famed Modeling and talent agency is a highly anticipated complement to the lifestyle, glamour and culture of the property and to the Mondrian brand.
Founded by supermodel Wilhelmina Cooper in 1967, Wilhelmina Models is a leader in the dynamic fashion and beauty industry and is one of the largest and most successful modeling agencies worldwide. Responsible for the careers of Gabriel Aubry, Mark Vanderloo and Theodora and Alexandra Richards to name a few, the agency represents more than 1,000 models in their New York, Miami and Los Angeles offices. As an innovator in the industry, Wilhelmina launched Wilhelmina Artist Management (WAM) to develop a specific division exclusively representing premier talent in the worlds of music, sports and entertainment. Today, that division boasts a roster including music superstars Fergie, Natasha Bedingfield, Estelle, and actress Zoe Saldana. Wilhelmina Miami was founded in 2000 and has been flourishing ever since. Representing men, women, and children and always seeking out new talent, the full service company continues to expand the brand with its move to Mondrian in Miami.
