Any customer booking their accommodation through Great Hotels of the World (www.ghotw.com) or Special Hotels of the World (www.shotw.com) will not be charged a cancellation fee if their flights are cancelled due to the volcanic ash cloud. Carly Gotz, group director sales & marketing at GHO says “We’re aware of the unreliability of flights due to the recent volcano eruption and we don’t want this to worry people when booking their holiday. We know how important our customer’s holidays are and we want them to be able to book with confidence. That’s why we will support our customers by waiving all cancellation fees if their flights are cancelled due to volcanic ash.
