“Siam Hideaways” promotion from September 1 to December 20
The five Relais & Châteaux’s properties in Thailand are celebrating the country’s most picturesque and colorful festival, ‘Loy Kratong’, with a special promotional offer.
The promotion named “Siam Hideaways” includes two consecutive nights in a deluxe room or suite (single or double occupancy) with return airport transfer, a VIP welcome and daily breakfast at 15,000THB net. The offer is valid from September 1 to December 20, 2010.
The five Relais & Châteaux properties participating in “Siam Hideaways” include Rachamankha in Chiang Mai, The Eugenia in Bangkok, Supanniga Home in Khon Kaen, The Pavilions; Phuket and The Scent in Koh Samui.
Relais & Châteaux, the Association of the world’s finest hoteliers, chefs and restaurateurs, proposes following this ‘Route du Bonheur” itinerary; literary meaning ‘Road to Happiness” by choosing to stay in two, three or all five properties for four, six or eight nights by combing the offer.
‘Loy Kratong’ is celebrated on the full moon night of the twelfth Thai lunar month when the tide and the rivers are at their highest and the moon is at its brightest. Thai people celebrate that night by floating lotus-shaped vessels made of banana leaves and evoking the spirit of the sacred past with a blessing of the full moon. The celebration also includes fireworks and the release of beautiful paper lanterns called ‘Kom Loy’.
