Six Resorts Managed by South Pacific Management Honored in the 23rd Annual Reader’s Choice Awards by Condé Nast Traveler Magazine
Resorts ranked among the 20 Top Resorts in Oceania Region
South Pacific Management Hotels Resorts & Spa www.spmhotels.com, one of Tahiti’s leading luxury resort management companies, is proud to announce that six of its resorts are listed in the top 20 resorts in the Oceania Region in the prestigious annual Reader’s Choice Awards by Condé Nast Traveler magazine.
The 23rd annual Readers' Choice Awards include 1,060 winners, elected by more than 25,000 readers whose passion is travel. The ratings are stratospheric: 281 places and properties achieve scores of 90.0 or above, from Art Nouveau palaces to South Pacific bungalows to one perfect jungle camp in Thailand.
Every year since 1988, a select sample of Condé Nast Traveler readers have taken the Readers' Choice Survey. The questionnaire is available to all readers through a secure website. What makes a perfect resort? Is it enough to have the best location? Stunning rooms? Impeccable service? Yes—and no.
To strike a chord with discriminating readers, a resort must excel in all six criteria:

The Top Resorts in Oceania Region Rankings for South Pacific Management Resorts are as Follows:
Le Taha’a Island Resort & Spa, a member of the acclaimed Relais & Chateaux organization, was honored as the #3 resort in the region. The resort was preceded by the Lodge at Kauri Cliffs, Northland, North Island (#1) and Huka Lodge, Taupo, North Island (#2). Le Taha’a was the only resort in French Polynesia to receive a reputable high score of 91.1.
Of the top 20 resorts listed for the Oceania region, 10 are located in French Polynesia, six of which are managed by S.P.M.:
