The St. Regis Lhasa Resort, Tibet Offers Exclusive Package To Celebrate Grand Opening of Tibet’s First International Luxury Brand

Lhasa, Tibet (January 24, 2011) – Experience the ancient mystical beauty of Tibet and the unparalleled luxury of The St. Regis brand through “Magical Lhasa, Luxurious Moments” at the new St. Regis Lhasa Resort. Already carving out a niche as one of the world’s most extraordinary destination resorts, The St. Regis Lhasa Resort has prepared an exclusive destination package sure to fulfill spirit, body and mind.

Located on “The Roof of the World” at 12,000 feet above sea level, and infused with the sacred elements of the famed Tibetan culture, the St. Regis Lhasa Resort opened in November, boasting signature St. Regis amenities, lavish rooms and suites and uncompromising luxury in the middle of an unmatched exotic and enchanting location.

Inspired by the intriguing beauty and mystery of Lhasa, The St. Regis Lhasa Resort, Tibet presents “Magical Lhasa, Luxurious Moments.” The package features three nights in a Grand Deluxe Room – with awe-inspiring views of the Lhasa Valley – with breakfast for two each morning; a personal yoga or meditation class with the resort’s in-house Tibetan yoga master; a Tibetan cooking class for two, and gourmet dinner for two in Si Zi Kang, the first gastronomic Tibetan restaurant to savor authentic Tibetan and Nepalese cuisine. Complimentary round-trip air and rail transfers are included. “Magical Lhasa, Luxurious Moments” is offered from now until 31st March 2011, starting at RMB 4500 for three nights; package is subject to availability and does not include a 15% service charge.

In addition, The St. Regis offers additional brand packages for guests visiting The St. Regis Lhasa Resort, including: “Awaken,” featuring a Deluxe Room and daily breakfast for two at RMB1600 (USD$241) per night; and “Stay 3 And Get the 3rd Night Free,” offering a Deluxe Room and daily breakfast for two, along with complimentary airport or rail pick-up transportation upon arrival for RMB1700 (USD $256) per night. Both packages are exclusive of a 15 percent service charge, and subject to availability.

All packages offer guests a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to experience mystical Lhasa through the luxurious lens of The St. Regis Lhasa Resort. Open just this past November, the St. Regis Lhasa Resort boasts 150 luxuriously appointed guest rooms and 12 spacious villas and suites, including the Presidential Suite.
