Sophisticated Lunar New Year Package with Breakfast for Two at SG$288++
(Singapore, 21 January, 2011) – A sophisticated ‘Lunar New Year Package’ at one of the most prestigious addresses in Singapore is available at the exclusive Hotel Fort Canning, priced from just SG$288++.
To welcome the Year of the Rabbit, this package is available from January 29 to February 7 at the newly opened boutique hotel, which allows guests to enjoy the best of both worlds – peace and greenery - whilst still being a 10 minute walk from the heart of Singapore’s shopping and nightlife districts.
The nightly rate in the elegant ‘Heritage Room’ includes a breakfast buffet for two; complimentary in-room Nespresso and TWG beverages; internet access and THANN bath products for indulgent pampering.
For this auspicious occasion, guests can enjoy a themed Lunar New Year Menu at the hotel’s recently opened “Contemporary Asian” bistro The Glass House. During this period, a menu of delicacies including Braised Shark's Fin with Crabmeat and Crab Roe and Braised Whole Abalone is available at S$888++ for a table of ten persons, and a second gourmet menu priced at S$1,088++ per table of 10.
Other epicurean delights at the hotel include Gattopardo Italian Grill and Pizzabar, which serves contemporary Italian and Mediterranean cuisine.
The restaurant also runs Tisettanta Lounge, which specialises in Italian inspired cocktails with flavours such as fresh herbs, tangy citrus, aromatic nuts and rich chocolate, healthy detoxifying remedies and drinks inspired by top Italian designers.
THANN Sanctuary at Hfc is the brand’s first venture outside of its homeland, Bangkok and has a tempting range of massage, facial and body care treatments to help guests de-stress and prepare for the New Year festivities.
Other facilities to be enjoyed by guests at the hotel include two full-sized swimming pools filled with mineral water and a gymnasium which feature the latest state-of-the-art TechnoGym equipment.
Hotel Fort Canning is nestled between Orchard Road, Clarke Quay entertainment hub and the Central Business District. It was once the base for British Far East Command during World War II and has been sensitively restored to maintain its colonial stateliness whilst updating it with an edgy twist of 21st Century modernism.
