IDeaS Revenue Solutions, the leading provider of pricing and revenue management software, services and consulting, today announced that Loews Hotels has started a nearly nation-wide rollout of the IDeaS Software-as-a-Service Revenue Management System. Ambitious growth plans for the hotel company led to the decision to incorporate IDeaS’ system across the majority of its portfolio.
“Moving from a manual to an automated revenue management environment in itself is a huge win,” said Chris Crenshaw, Vice President of Marketing Intelligence, Loews Hotels. “With IDeaS, we are able to build on our solid group strategies and increase communication with our sales force because of the deep business evaluation functionality that interfaces with our existing technology.”
Loews is implementing the IDeaS RMS equipped with Group Pricing and Evaluation and Best Available Rate (BAR) features. The solution includes full two-way communication between IDeaS and Loews’ existing technologies, including the Micros Opera property management system and the Delphi sales and catering system. Additionally, Loews and IDeaS plan to automate the process of inventory management to increase efficiency. This will allow hotel revenue managers to focus on larger strategic initiatives.
