Meeting planners hungry for deliciously different meeting options will appreciate Hotel Nikko San Francisco’s new gourmet group activities. Critically acclaimed for its Asian-inspired California Cuisine, the hotel draws upon its Japanese heritage and reputation for fine dining to present an authentic sushi making class, the sake cocktail experience and the art of winemaking as unique meeting options.

Sushi Making Class – Stylishly ensconced in newly renovated Restaurant Anzu, famous for luscious sushi, guests will learn how to make sushi from the master. After receiving the ingredients, utensils and guidance to create their own sushi masterpieces, they will then enjoy an exquisite selection of sushi paired with sake.

Sake Cocktail Experience – This exotic flight of fancy features an educational sake tasting and mixology course followed by a competition to make the tastiest sake-infused cocktail.

The Art of Winemaking – A local vintner will teach groups how to make wine using various grape varietals. Teams will then blend their own unique wine and the group will pick their favorite selection to be bottled with a label of their design.

“San Francisco is one of the world’s most celebrated culinary destinations. We want to bring vibrant flavor of the city to the meeting experience for an unforgettable taste of our region,” comments Vice President of Sales & Marketing Joe Curran.
